Osteopathy course information
The HPS Deutsche School of Osteopathy has a course to suit everyone interested in manual therapy. Being an osteopath is a rewarding career and one that is welcoming to students of all ages and experiences. Whether you are studying for your A levels, already hold a degree in another subject or if you have been out of formal education for a number of years, we can get you on track to becoming an osteopath.
Clearing
Clearing is a service on offer between July and September to help students gain a place on our full-time undergraduate degree. Most students apply for a place through clearing after they have their exam results. If you do not have a place at university and are interested in studying to become an osteopath then please contact us with your name, contact details, UCAS reference number and information on your qualifications
4 years Full-time study
Typical entry requirements: BBC with a B grade in Biology
The M.Ost is an undergraduate qualification and there is no expectation that you will have a degree already, although a number of mature students do come to us with high level qualifications. All applications are considered individually taking into account certificated evidence of Key Skills and a range of other qualifications.
5 years Part-time study
Studying for our new M.Ost takes five years of part time attendance and covers the same curriculum as our full-time M.Ost.
Part-time study is increasingly popular amongst our students and is ideal if you need to balance work and/or family commitments
